Alexander RĂĽstow

(April 8, 1885 in Wiesbaden, died. Jul y 30, 1963 in Heidelberg) - German economist, ranks among the mai n representatives of neo-liberalism. Kinsman William Rustów. Des cended from an old Prussian officers family. He graduated from Bi smarck Gymnasium (now the Goethe Gymnasium) in Wilmersdorf near Berlin (now within the administrative borders of the city). From 1903 he studied in Göttingen, Munich and Berlin, mathematics, physics, philosophy, philology, law and economics. He studied under the direction of Leonard Nelson.
